Selleck was featured in a variety of TV films that included the Jesse Stone series. He played the role of a New England Police Chief. The role earned him another Emmy nomination and he was the executive producer of the show. Selleck also portrays an officer who is part of a family of multigenerational of police officers in the drama Blue Bloods, which debuted on CBS in 2010.Selleck was eventually able get his chance to appear on the big screen. He also was a part of the acclaimed comedy Three Men and a Baby together with Ted Danson and Steve Guttenberg. The comedy was the highest-grossing film.
