Her best-known character was as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of the character Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. The couple has three brothers. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer, sneaking out of the family home to perform.
