Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its initial season. She was America's Sweetheart. The win brought Clarkson to the spotlight and secured her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since then she has recorded numerous studio albums, three of which topped the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just did not make it to the top. They consider her to be one of the most successful American Idol artists. She experimented as she gained popularity with diverse musical and theme styles. She often composed the songs herself. As a result of her uniqueness and skill as a singer and songwriter, she received praise from reviewers and was awarded a couple of prestigious award. Her most notable achievement is that she won the Grammy Award three times. In addition to her work as a musician, she's seen on TV and in film. She also co-wrote the children's book River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated with various charitable organizations.
